2026 OT Rankings
Last Updated: 1/5/26
1.
Francis Mauigoa
Archetype: Mauler
Pro Comp: Taliese Fuaga
Grade: 1st round

School:
Miami
Height:
6'6
Weight:
315lbs
Strengths:
Plug-and-play right tackle who can be a mover in the run game right away. Strong, athletic lower half affords him an elite anchor and solid recovery athleticism. Hand technique is coordinated and consistent. Mauler who dominates on double teams and down blocks and neutralizes smaller players at the 2nd level. Good straight-line athlete. Elevated his play down the stretch and dominated vs Texas A&M and OSU.
Weaknesses:
Length is just okay. Has trouble handling speed rushers at times. Strike power is good but not great for a guy with his power profile. Have yet to consistently see him work as an outside zone blocker; upper-lower synergy isn't always there, leading to whiffs. Would like to see better angles from him in space.
2.
Spencer Fano
Archetype: Uber-Athletic Mauler
Pro Comp: Penei Sewell-lite
Grade: 1st round

School:
Utah
Height:
6'6
Weight:
302lbs
Strengths:
Elite athlete who moves unbelievably well in space. The best run blocker in the class by far; reach blocks, combo blocks, and pulls are all elite. Mirrors athletic pass rushers with ease; readily counters speed rushers consistently. Recovery ability is remarkable. Downhill mauler in the run game who finishes plays with authority. Hand usage in pass protection is good. 3-year starter at Utah.
Weaknesses:
Towering, narrow frame naturally undermines his ability to anchor against power rushers consistently; will have to undergo a learning curve against NFL speed-to-power. Major concerns over his overall. Arms were measured at 34" but that number is disputed. Strike power is pedestrian.
3.
Caleb Lomu
Archetype: Refined Pass Protector
Pro Comp:
Grade: 1st round

School:
Utah
Height:
6'6
Weight:
308lbs
Strengths:
The most polished pass protector in the class; outstanding hand usage to counter both speed and power. Footwork to mirror creative rushers is glorious. Capable of dropping the anchor against more powerful rushers. Technique is remarkable for a 21 year old. Has generally done a good job avoiding penalties in his career. Stellar 99.0 pass block efficiency rate.
Weaknesses:
Length and play strength will have to prove it can hold up against NFL speed-to-power. Top-heavy build lends him just above average play strength; doesn't get much movement in the run game. Lack of raw power shows up in the run game; doesn't finish with authority. Lingers on double teams; doesn't always get to the 2nd level with tenacity.
4.
Trevor Goosby
Archetype: Raw Athlete
Pro Comp:
Grade: 1st round

School:
Texas
Height:
6'7
Weight:
312lbs
Strengths:
Prototypical left tackle frame with height, mass, and excellent arm length. Play strength is arguably the best in the class. Movement skills afford him elite pocket range in confluence with his length. Long arms with thunderous, coordinated hands attached. Solid movement in the open field. Outstanding film shutting down Cashius Howell. Can play left or right tackle. Will be 20 years old on draft night.
Weaknesses:
Inexperience shows up when handling inside counter moves; too often drawn away from proper positioning. Lackluster awareness leads to mental errors. Uncoordinated lower half in the run game limits his ability to generate movement; technique must be refined (improved from '24 to '25). Tendency to overextend himself leads to inconsistent block sustain. Takes poor angles to 2nd and 3rd level defenders.
5.
Blake Miller
Archetype: Raw Athlete
Pro Comp: Lane Johnson
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Clemson
Height:
6'6
Weight:
315lbs
Strengths:
Arguably the best pound-for-pound athlete in the entire class; burst, bend, and open-field speed are absurd. Allegedly has 35" arms. Has the spatial IQ to pair with his awareness; elite puller and 2nd-level climber. Very impressive anchor and consistency handling speed-to-power. Range and strain to reach and displace defenders when blocking zone concepts.
Weaknesses:
Hand usage is pedestrian and undeveloped; has had some quick losses. Rare example of a lineman whose athleticism carries him; must improve overall technique to disallow power rushers from breaching his frame and more refined rushers from outdueling him. Ends up on the ground more often than you'd like for an athlete of his caliber
6.
Monroe Freeling
Archetype: Raw Athlete
Pro Comp: Tyler Guyton
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Georgia
Height:
6'7
Weight:
315lbs
Strengths:
Sturdy, long, powerful build that is ideal for a franchise left tackle. Arguably the strongest anchor in the class; long arms and dense frame to deter speed-to-power. People mover in the run game who resets the LOS. Good athlete who fires off the ball; coordinated mover who's fast in a straight line. Two-year starter against elite competition. Major leap in pass pro from '24 to '25. True junior with a high ceiling.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent pass sets leave his inside shoulder vulnerable; susceptible to inside counters. Block sustain in the run game leaves something to be desired (but he does play through the whistle). Too often lunges/overextends and gets tossed aside. Doesn't bend all that well; quicker linemen can evade and force him to reach/grab. Moves well in space, but must improve his angles and hand placement against moving targets.
7.
Max Iheanachor
Archetype: Raw Athlete
Pro Comp: Cameron Erving
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Arizona St.
Height:
6'6
Weight:
330lbs
Strengths:
Good athlete; moves very well for his size. Good footwork and clean pass sets allow him to mirror athletic rushers well. Doesn't overset and has the length to protect the edge. Explodes out of his stance in both phases of the game. Good pad level to move defenders on down blocks and double teams. Technical lapses could be due to inexperience rather than incompetence; only started playing football in 2021.
Weaknesses:
Struggles with speed-to-power due to passive hands that lack pop. Hand placement is inconsistent. Technical unrefinement makes him struggle to reset the LOS as a run blocker; poor leg drive and block sustain at times. Gets grabby when caught out of position; 8 penalties in 2025. Athletic but fairly uncoordinated; doesn't position himself well or take the best angles in space.
8.
Carter Smith
Archetype: Powerful Pass Protector
Pro Comp:
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Indiana
Height:
6'5
Weight:
313lbs
Strengths:
Has powerful hands to go with a broad frame and great overall body strength. Coordinated hand usage in pass protection allows him to dictate the initial contact exchange. Takes good angles in space and latches onto moving targets. Relentless motor allows him to reach his spot and strain to turn defenders from the ball. Elite play strength affords him guard/center versatility.
Weaknesses:
Lacks prototypical arm length; around 33-inch arms. Movement skills are fluid, but he isn't a great athlete. Recovery athleticism is just okay. He opens his frame early to speed rushers, leaving him susceptible to inside counters; he's protected the edge but only because he sells out to do so. Many teams will prefer him at guard or center due to physical limitations, but he's only ever played tackle.
9.
Caleb Tiernan
Archetype: Powerful Pass Protector
Pro Comp:
Grade: 3rd round

School:
Northwestern
Height:
6'7
Weight:
325lbs
Strengths:
Some of the most powerful hands in the class, especially in pass protection. Hand technique is refined and his strikes are powerful. Displays burst and acceleration out of his stance. Good working off double team blocks. Climbs to the 2nd level in a hurry; moves very well in space. Outstanding production in 2025. 4 years of starter experience.
Weaknesses:
Unorthodox build; very tall with short arms. Height/length combined with his lack of bend indicates he will struggle vs speed rushers. Sometimes moves too quick for his own good; gets caught off-balance fairly often. Arm length is below average. Bend is less than ideal for a player his height; lacks natural leverage and balanced weight distribution.
10.
Isaiah World
Archetype: Raw Athlete
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
Oregon
Height:
6'6
Weight:
321lbs
Strengths:
Not as tall as his listed height, but has awesome arm length and a good overall frame. Ridiculous power in his hands, arguably the strongest in the class; shocks rushers with his initial punch and neutralizes inside moves and counter moves. Often ends reps at the initial contact exchange. Good overall athlete who explodes into his pass set and covers ground blocking in space on zone concepts.
Weaknesses:
Technical unrefinement on all levels; poor pad level, raw hand usage, and lackluster leg drive. Generally undisciplined player; 39 career penalties reflect his below average coordination and hand placement. Hand timing isn't great, and he struggles to sustain due to his small hand size. Thin lower half hurts his leg drive in the run game. Anchor degrades quickly in pass protection against speed-to-power.
