2026 CB Rankings
Last Updated: 3/28/26
1.
Mansoor Delane
Archetype: Shutdown Boundary CB
Pro Comp: Marshon Lattimore
Grade: 1st round

School:
LSU
Height:
6'0
Weight:
187lbs
Strengths:
Thrives in press; physical with excellent reactive athleticism. Elite mirroring ability thanks to his change of direction; great hips. Very disciplined player; great eyes in man coverage and doesn't commit a lot of penalties. Attacks the ball in the air. Plays above his weight class at the LOS. Looked incredible in both man and zone in 2025; great ball production and elite tape. Ran a sub-4.4 40 at his pro day.
Weaknesses:
Smooth backpedal but doesn't close downhill with elite burst. Some teams won't love his 30.25" arms. Average route recognition in zone coverage. Below average play strength and length to play aggressive press-man; sticks to soft-press technique. Measurables limit his effectiveness as a run defender, even if willing.
2.
Jermod McCoy
Archetype: Off-Man Boundary CB
Pro Comp: Darius Slay
Grade: 1st round

School:
Tennessee
Height:
6'1
Weight:
188lbs
Strengths:
Soft-press and off-man extraordinaire; click-and-close burst is special. Extremely impressive short-area twitch; acceleration, deceleration, and mirroring are exceptional. Explosive mover with great downfield speed. Great route recognition playing Tampa 2. Great tackler; aggressive in run support. Prototype size with good length. Will be 20 years old on draft night.
Weaknesses:
Generally good at the catch point but has lapses getting his head around on downfield targets. Soft-press is great but would like to see more physicality at the LOS. Just one full season of great play. Torn ACL in 2024 needs to be monitored. Got cooked by Jeremiah Smith.
3.
Avieon Terrell
Archetype: Off-Coverage Hybrid CB
Pro Comp: Kyler Gordon
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Clemson
Height:
5'11
Weight:
186lbs
Strengths:
Excellent athlete; great speed and click-and-close ability. Great hips and backpedal to mirror in man/match zone. Good eyes in zone coverage. Great tackler who is aggressive and competitive; does well to shed blocks and lay big hits. Displayed nickel versatility in 2025 season. Has been electric on limited blitz opportunities (3 sacks on 13 blitzes). 7 career FF.
Weaknesses:
Height/weight combo shows up at the LOS and up the stem; lacks ability to consistently jam WRs. 30.25" arms will turn off some teams. Struggles to compete with physical WRs downfield. Catch point production tapered off from '24 to '25; 0 picks and 3 TDs allowed. Can be grabby at the top of routes but has cleaned this up some in 2025.
4.
Chris Johnson
Archetype: Off-Coverage Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: 2nd round

School:
SDSU
Height:
6'0
Weight:
193lbs
Strengths:
Elite athlete; should dominate the combine speed and agility drills. Excellent in off coverage; click-and-close burst is elite and has excellent route recognition to thrive in man/match zone. 4 INTs, 4 PBUs, 0 TDs allowed in 2025. Has requisite reactive athleticism to succeed in press-man. Elite tackler; 1 missed tackle in 2025. If all else fails, he's a Pro Bowl special teamer.
Weaknesses:
Good frame but still a little slight; could struggle against physical NFL X WRs between his weight and 31" arms. Suboptimal timing at the catch point. Hasn't put much on tape in press-man; certain teams will be turned off. Obvious questions over competition level, but played arguably his best game against Cal.
5.
Keith Abney II
Archetype: Off-Coverage Hybrid CB
Pro Comp: Kamari Lassiter
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Arizona St.
Height:
5'10
Weight:
187lbs
Strengths:
Elite zone cover corner whose eyes and instincts allow him to squeeze passing lanes; black hole in Tampa 2. Sound technique to mirror in soft-press. Excellent eyes/route recognition to stick in off-man; instincts often make up for his average burst. Good ball skills; 5 picks and 17 PBUs in the last two seasons. Elite tackler; 2.4% missed tackle rate in 2025.
Weaknesses:
Very average athlete across the board; not a liability but not outstanding. Good-not-great athleticism shows up against comeback routes. Tendency to grab vs. more athletic WRs. Lackluster 30.5" arm length will turn certain teams off. Some teams will view him as a nickel.
6.
Colton Hood
Archetype: Physical Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Tennessee
Height:
6'0
Weight:
193lbs
Strengths:
Smothers WRs at the LOS and remains attached up the stem. Aggressive two-hand press will jolt WRs not prepared for a contact exchange. Transition technique often makes up for modest athleticism. Physicality translates to the run game. Controlled athlete who doesn't often fall for head fakes and double moves. Improved as a tackler in '25. One of few standout CBs at the Senior Bowl.
Weaknesses:
Feisty, undisciplined man coverage technique unlikely to work against high-end NFL WRs. Poor eye discipline; allows WRs to cross his face. Average career ball production. Occasionally sloppy film indicates he'll be penalized more in the NFL despite just 4 penalties in '25. Athleticism on film doesn't always match his testing numbers; closing speed and lateral movement are just okay.
7.
Brandon Cisse
Archetype: Off-Man Boundary CB
Pro Comp: Desmond Trufant
Grade: 2nd round

School:
S. Carolina
Height:
6'0
Weight:
189lbs
Strengths:
Athletic ability pops on film and ought to be corroborated by his Combine numbers. Mirror ability is amazing thanks to his foot quickness, deceleration, and overall speed. Willing and able run defender; aggressive, reliable tackler. Burst to close space in a hurry once ball is thrown. Length and persistence to be a nuisance at the catch point.
Weaknesses:
Barely 1000 career snaps reflect how raw he is. Struggles in zone coverage; route recognition and reaction time are lacking. Gets frozen by savvy route runners who cross his face. Ball production is unimpressive; ball skills need work, especially downfield. Outmuscled by stronger WRs at the LOS. Often goes around blocks rather than holding the line; modest play strength.
8.
D'Angelo Ponds
Archetype: Physical Nickel CB
Pro Comp: Kenny Moore II
Grade: 2nd round

School:
Indiana
Height:
5'9
Weight:
182lbs
Strengths:
Elite ball production with 26 PBUs and 7 INTs; 54.7 career passer rating allowed. 3-year starter on the boundary who's been elite each season. Route recognition and discipline are elite in zone coverage. Ball skills allow him to play above his frame. Excellent play recognition; triggers downhill quickly. Amazing tackler; 6.1% career miss rate. Elite 43.5" vertical to help make up for height disadvantage.
Weaknesses:
Very undersized player; short stature with short 29 3/8" arms. Instances where larger WRs dominate him at the top of the route (Jeremiah Smith). Hip fluidity is good, but not great for a smaller DB. Bigger blockers can easily displace him should he play nickel in the NFL. Doesn't miss many tackles, but does concede yards after contact.
9.
Davison Igbinosun
Archetype: Press-Man Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: 3rd round

School:
Ohio State
Height:
6'2
Weight:
189lbs
Strengths:
Awesome combo of height, length, and speed (4.45 40). 32 7/8" arms are awesome. Uses length very well at the LOS; press-man extraordinaire. Uses length well at the catch point. '25 was easily his best season; 0 TDs allowed, 5 PBUs, 2 INTs. Greatly improved with not grabbing/holding in '25 (5 penalties). Physical against the run; puts himself in position to make plays. Solid tackler; 11.4% missed tackle rate.
Weaknesses:
High-hipped with average agility; struggles to stick with snappy route runners and resorts to reaching and grabbing. Inconsistent with the ball in the air; doesn't always get his head around, or panics and commits a penalty. Hasn't made many plays in zone coverage. Just 4 INTs compared to 10 career TDs allowed. Absurd 22 penalties against him in '23 and '24 seasons.
10.
Devin Moore
Archetype: Press-Man Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: 3rd round

School:
Florida
Height:
6'3
Weight:
198lbs
Strengths:
Massive frame with decent length. Makes the most of his length at the LOS; reroutes WRs. Remarkable ball skills in the deep part of the field; almost never beaten at the catch point. Plays a whole lot faster than his 4.5 40 time; explosive mover capable of closing space in a hurry. Willing and able run defender; great tackler (8.2% career miss rate). Was flagged 0 times in '24 and '25. Has flashed exciting ball skills.
Weaknesses:
Has missed a lot of games due to injury and has just 18 starts under his belt. Limited game experience shows in his zone coverage; often guarding grass, not receivers. Struggles to sink his hips and decelerate to defend hitches and comebacks. Slow to recognize route development a zone defender; eye discipline is lackluster. Mirror ability is below average due to high hips and average lateral quickness.
11.
Keionte Scott
Archetype: Physical Nickel CB
Pro Comp: Upton Stout
Grade: 3rd round

School:
Miami
Height:
5'11
Weight:
193lbs
Strengths:
Physical, instinctual run defender; generates splash plays and changes games. Elite click-and-close burst to smother the receiver/runner. Physicality and technical refinement to take on blocks. Game-wrecking blitzer; 5 sacks and 6 QB hits in '25. Takes great angles to the ball carrier. Above average zone coverage instincts; great underneath route recognition.
Weaknesses:
Misses too many tackles; sometimes doesn't wrap up in an effort to lay the boom. Physical, but below average play strength; will likely struggle to guard TEs/big slots. Man coverage instincts are below average; lacks eye discipline and is too easily beaten inside. Confined strictly to the nickel. Lacks length to consistently win at the catch point. Will be 25 years old as a rookie.
12.
Malik Muhammad
Archetype: Off-Coverage Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: 3rd round

School:
Texas
Height:
6'0
Weight:
182lbs
Strengths:
Explosive, fluid, and fast; great athletic testing (4.42 40, 39" vert), and smooth hips on film. Excellent route recognition in zone coverage; seldom out of position. Above average eyes and instincts in man coverage. Excellent closing speed and change of direction ability. Calm and coordinated at the catch point; rarely gives up the big play, and had 3 penalties in '25.
Weaknesses:
Has a slight build with below average play strength; may struggle against big NFL WR1's. Too easily bullied at the top of the route and at the LOS; should add strength to stick on the boundary in the NFL. Unimpressive ball production; just 3 INTs in 3 seasons. Lacks stopping power as a tackler; too easily dragged for bonus yardage.
13.
Daylen Everette
Archetype: Press-Man Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
Georgia
Height:
6'1
Weight:
196lbs
Strengths:
Smooth, agile athlete with excellent build-up speed. Good eye discipline in man coverage to go with his loose hips and excellent agility. Good soft-press technique to dictate the route; sticky and patient with good reactive athleticism. Borderline elite man transitions allow him to smother stop routes and underneath routes. Capable of turning up the heat in press-man with physicality and play strength.
Weaknesses:
Downhill trigger from zone is average; can struggle to close space quickly on underneath targets. Too often fails to trust his make-up speed and gets grabby on vertical targets. Average ball skills with a tendency to panic at the catch point. Lapses in route recognition lead to him being out of position in zone. Strong tackler, but with poor pad level and technique; allows too many yards after contact.
14.
Julian Neal
Archetype: Physical Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
Arkansas
Height:
6'2
Weight:
203lbs
Strengths:
Impressive height/weight/speed combo; 6'2" with 32 3/4" arms and a 4.49 40. Length and strength allow him to dominate at the catch point. Pierces the WR at the LOS and reroutes with ease; overwhelming strength/length in press. Explosiveness (40" vert, 11'2" broad) shows up in the run game; physical tackler with good technique, stopping power, and block deconstruction.
Weaknesses:
Linear athlete with tight hips who struggles as man reps go on; struggles to recover on double moves or when beaten horizontally. Doesn't consistently stick with his man out of breaks. Average zone instincts worsened by his lack of fluid recovery athleticism. Struggles to decelerate and recover against hitches/comebacks. 8 penalties in two seasons starting.
15.
Devon Marshall
Archetype: Off-Coverage Hybrid CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
NC State
Height:
5'10
Weight:
197lbs
Strengths:
Excellent production; 20 PBUs, 4 INTs in 18 starts at NCSU. Fluid mover with good eye discipline in man coverage; twitchy with good enough long speed. Above average route recognition in zone coverage. Physical, energetic player who brings it in the run game; excellent tackler who takes good angles to the ball. Positions himself well and takes on blocks vs the run. Just 3 penalties in 2 seasons.
Weaknesses:
Good play strength, but inconsistent technique and lack of length limit his effectiveness in press. May struggle at the catch point against taller, longer WRs. At times is too easily baited by double moves. Overall size/athletic profile is uninspiring. Vertical speed is good but not great. Some teams may see him as a nickel in the NFL.
16.
Jadon Canady
Archetype: Sticky Nickel CB
Pro Comp: Michael Carter II
Grade: early day 3

School:
Oregon
Height:
5'10
Weight:
181lbs
Strengths:
Highly coordinated and very quick mover who sticks to slot WRs in man coverage. Smooth, fluid transitions. Excellent eyes in off-man coverage. Very good instincts in shallow zones. Closes in a hurry with excellent timing to disrupt the throw. Remarkable timing to flip his hips and turn vertically. Serviceable tackler who plays with great effort. Reduced penalties from 8 in '24 to just 2 in '25.
Weaknesses:
Overall lack of play strength limits his effectiveness. Power slots/TEs will be able to overpower him at the top of routes and at the catch point. Below average size/length will limit his ability to defend high throws. Too easily washed away when a blocker gets their hands on him. Shoestring tackler who lacks stopping power. Confined to the slot in the NFL; little boundary versatility.
17.
Chandler Rivers
Archetype: Physical Nickel CB
Pro Comp: Captain Munnerlyn
Grade: early day 3

School:
Duke
Height:
5'10
Weight:
185lbs
Strengths:
Ultra-physical, ultra-competitive player who makes plays near the LOS. Excellent athlete; 4.4 40 with a 39" vertical. Marvelous route recognition and instincts in zone coverage. Good eye discipline in man coverage. Explosive mover who closes quickly with great ball skills and timing; 11 PBUs, 5 INTs, and just 3 penalties in 2 years. Capable of pressing and redirecting WRs of similar size. Has flashed as a blitzer.
Weaknesses:
Was mostly a boundary CB at Duke but will need to move inside in the NFL; undersized with 29 3/8" arms. Will struggle to handle power slot assignments, especially at the catch point. Needs to hone his movement skills; WRs can easily cross his face or win on stop routes. Physical, but lacking mass to consistently tackle well. Must avoid blocks, too small to take them on.
18.
Ephesians Prysock
Archetype: Gazelle Boundary CB
Pro Comp: Cam Hart
Grade: early day 3

School:
Washington
Height:
6'3
Weight:
196lbs
Strengths:
Lanky, fast, linear athlete; 4.45 40, 39" vertical with 33 1/8" arms. Comfortable pressing and rerouting WRs in a variety of looks. Excellent vertical speed and ball skills to neutralize gos and deep posts; flips his hips quickly and with good timing. Above average zone coverage instincts with the length to impact passing lanes; 17 career PBUs. Reliable tackler who positions himself well and casts a wide net.
Weaknesses:
Disappointing turnover production; just 2 INTs in 3 years as a starter. Closing burst is average; hesitant attacker with mediocre reactive athleticism to close space with the ball in the air. High-hipped mover who struggles to stick with snappy intermediate routes and stop routes. 13 penalties in 2 seasons; too quick to get grabby when outleveraged. Drag-down tackler who gives up yards after contact.
19.
Tacario Davis
Archetype: Gazelle Boundary CB
Pro Comp: Ahkello Witherspoon
Grade: early day 3

School:
Washington
Height:
6'4
Weight:
194lbs
Strengths:
Amazing 33 3/8" arms to go with his outlier height/speed combo. Neutralizes vertical routes with his length and linear athleticism; has the speed to make up ground in a hurry. Allowed an excellent 50.6 passer rating when targeted in ‘25. Excels in press-man thanks to his length and technique. Enticing closing burst to disrupt passing lanes in shallow zone. 19 PBUs in 3 years. Casts a wide net as a tackler and rarely misses.
Weaknesses:
High-hipped mover prone to clunky transitions and upright pad level; struggles in off-man when he can’t dictate the WR’s release. Suboptimal transitions lead to issues sticking with intermediate routes; recovery speed won’t always make up for separation allowed. Tendency to get grabby to make up for his lack of lateral recovery athleticism. Disappointing turnover production; 3 INTs in 3 seasons.
20.
Will Lee III
Archetype: Physical Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
Texas A&M
Height:
6'1
Weight:
189lbs
Strengths:
Long, strong, explosive athlete who excels near the LOS. Uses length (32 3/4" arms) and strength to dictate routes in press-man; ultra-physical style in press. Above average anticipation and eye discipline to run routes for WRs. Flips his hips quickly and with excellent timing. Excels at using his length to disrupt passing lanes. Solid eyes and route recognition to click and close as an underneath zone defender.
Weaknesses:
Average vertical speed; struggles to stick with vertical threats. Has good ball skills and length, but panics downfield and gets grabby instead of getting his head around and trusting his ability. Upright pad level in his pedal. Too often out of position in zone coverage in the intermediate area/downfield. Below average tackler who takes poor angles and has inconsistent technique; delivers some big hits but is inconsistent.
21.
Hezekiah Masses
Archetype: Off-Coverage Boundary CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
California
Height:
6'1
Weight:
179lbs
Strengths:
Elite 2025 ball production; 5 INTs and 9 PBUs. Above average eye discipline in zone coverage; doesn't hesitate to squeeze passing windows and play the ball. Above average technique in man; utilizes trail technique and lets the sideline be his friend. Good mirror ability to go with his soft-press. Solid reactive athleticism and trigger ability. 4-year starter who has improved with each year.
Weaknesses:
Leggy mover with average eye discipline in man. Very inconsistent at the catch point and commits penalties; sometimes arrives with poor timing and gets grabby if out of position. Below average play strength limits his effectiveness in man vs bigger WRs. Lacks length and strength to dictate matchups vs NFL X WRs. Below average play strength; drag-down tackler who comes in with high pad level.
22.
TJ Hall
Archetype: Physical Hybrid CB
Pro Comp:
Grade: early day 3

School:
Iowa
Height:
6'1
Weight:
189lbs
Strengths:
Elite run defending CB who fits the Iowa DB mold; block deconstruction, tackling technique, and positioning are excellent. Well-built with elite reactive athleticism; doesn't let WRs cross his face often. Excellent zone instincts and route recognition; hawks passing lanes with anticipation. Above average eye discipline in man coverage. Physical at the catch point and seldom allows yards after the catch.
Weaknesses:
Lacks desired length and long speed; 4.59 40 and 30" arms. Disappointing ball production; 2 INTs in 2 years. Lacks explosive athletic traits to close space quickly. Immature footwork can lead to instances where he gets stacked quickly or bites on a fake. Struggles to find the ball in the air; leaves INTs on the table. Some teams may not see him as a boundary CB.
